Are you a researcher who wants to participate in Sweden’s most widespread science festival this autumn? European Researchers’ Night (ForskarFredag) is an international event held annually during the last week of September. In Sweden, around 30 cities take part, and the events are coordinated by the non-profit organisation Vetenskap & Allmänhet. The aim is to show that researchers are ordinary people with extraordinary jobs!

You can choose how you want to participate:

  • Join us with a small experiment or other hands-on activity during our Open House at Curiosum, Thursday 26 September from 4–8 PM, targeting families with children. This event usually draws lots of curious visitors eager to learn more.

  • Take part in “Borrow a Researcher”, aimed at schools (any grade level) Monday to Thursday, week 39. You decide what times suit you and whether you want to visit classrooms in person or participate digitally. “Borrow a Researcher” is coordinated by Public & Science.
