We always offer free entry for all children and young people up to and including 19 years of age.
Between 23 June and 17 August, we offer loads of fun and educational activities for all ages! Come explore our exhibitions, experiment, code, and create in the Makerspace. Don’t miss a visit to the immersive Wisdome dome theater, where extraordinary film adventures await. Open daily 10 AM–5 PM!

Each day, you’ll get to try a fun and fascinating experiment – exciting for both kids and adults!

Fizzing Bath Bombs (Mon 23 June – Sun 6 July)
Explore the science behind bath bombs and find out what makes them fizz so dramatically in water. You’ll also get to make your very own bath bomb to take home!
DNA from Strawberries (Mon 7 July – Sun 27 July)
DNA contains the instructions that make you you! But have you ever held DNA in your hands? Find out how to extract DNA from a strawberry.
Solve the Powder Mystery! (Mon 28 July – Sun 17 August)
Professor Strul has mixed up her chemicals. Help her figure out which substance is which by carrying out a series of experiments.

Space Escape! (Mon 23 June – Sun 20 July)
Now with new missions for the whole family!
In this thrilling escape game, you’re the crew aboard Apollo 13. You're headed for the Moon – but something goes wrong. Work together to solve the challenges and get safely back to Earth – before time runs out!
Become a Filmmaker with Stop Motion (Mon 21 July – Sun 17 August)
Unleash your imagination and learn how to create your own animated film using stop motion. Get tips and tricks, take photos step-by-step, and watch your story come to life! What will your film be about?

Create Your Own Coral Reef (Mon 23 June – Sun 17 August)
Dive into the world of the ocean and learn about corals and their habitats. Use yarn and different crafting techniques to create your own colourful coral reef to take home.

We screen dome films daily at 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00 and 16:00.*
On selected days during weeks 27, 30 and 33, the 13:00 screening will be replaced with a family-friendly planetarium show. Don’t miss the chance to experience space closer than ever before!
