Did you know that bees are among the most important insects on Earth? In addition to producing honey, they play a crucial role in biodiversity through their ability to pollinate plants and crops.
World Bee Day is celebrated every year on May 20. At Curiosum, we’re excited to celebrate with a whole weekend full of fun and special bee-themed activities! Come learn more about these amazing insects, create your own bee hotel, get crafty, and much more!
We’re welcoming Jörgen Kragh, an experienced beekeeper and bee health consultant, who will share his knowledge about these vital little insects. Get a closer look at a beehive (without bees) and learn how a bee colony works. Don’t miss it!
Use bamboo sticks to create a bee hotel to take home with you. Hang it up outdoors and become a true bee hero! You’ll also receive some bee-friendly flower seeds to plant.
Experiment and try to figure out the secret ingredient in our super bubble mix! How big can your bubbles get? Come test it in the chemistry lab!
Program mini-robots using only colors or try the more advanced LEGO Ev3 Robots. Complete different tasks, like delivering packages or navigating an obstacle course.
